I Believe In Internet Relationships

For an introvert (INTJ) like myself, these are good. I will enjoy waking up in the morning to a waiting message from the other part. I will respond almost immediately. The sad thing is, that most people will loose interest and won't keep up the constant exchange of messages. If she continues to communicate, then there will be something wonderful developing.

A friend an I were talking about something similar to this last night. While there are certainly close friendships made here, we sometimes forget that we all juggle an online and offline life and cannot always be immediately available to friends here. It isn’t that we don’t want constant communication with each other, sometimes it is difficult to maintain. BUT, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a friendship or connection.

@Pinkstarburst I completely agree with you; I do understand that there is a life offline. I do understand that people can't respond immediately. To me, this is completely acceptable. As long as there is a reply within a reasonable time period, I'm happy.

The sad truth is most of the time they don't last. Enjoy the time they do give you and make the most of that time. I have enjoyed those nice little messages from someone special and it does hurt when they go. And if you are one of the truly lucky ones it could blossom into something that will last for every.
