Am I the only one? [I Love Domestic Discipline]

I was married young to an older man, a very loving relationship, albeit very much with him as Head of the Home from day one, and we both had a clear and shared view of who was in charge and that there would be 'consequences' for misdemeanours. Because it followed naturally from my home life and upbringing, it never occurred to me to question it: it was never discussed. Nor do I question it now. I had no idea it had a name like DD or CDD. It just was... and is! Did anyone else find themselves moving naturally into this life?

Yes, I simply followed in my mother and father’s footsteps

Oh definitely, I think its just natural for the man to be in control and to punish as he sees fit.

Yes the same for me and my husband.

I had a similar relationship with a woman who understood that I was in charge and wouldn't hesitate to correct her when needed. I miss that lifestyle. I loved her and she knew that

Hi Shirley, I'm Dan. I'd like to discuss DD or CDD as the case may be. Your thoughts, ideas, experiences. My first wife and I didn't have the chemistry for DD and my second wife was open to it but inconsistent. I believe in traditional family values, and I have many ideas and experiences to share! When you get a moment, I'd love to share with you!

I had to look up CDD. I have heard of this, but never lived with it. It isn't your usual domestic violence, is it?

I am used to seeing the Garden variety kind of DV (in childhood or in marriage) where they don't beat you over the head with a Bible or use Jesus as an excuse for being mean-spirited.
