Look up the FBI crime statistics blunt force objects and knives are used more than firearms. Ted Kennedy's car killed more people than my guns. Can't say the same for clays or paper targets or deer or boar but definitely can for people! I'd rather keep it that way but in a self defense situation I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

The technical terminology of firearms never actually included the term "assault rifle" or "assault weapon" those terms were created by the liberal controlled media as a scare tactic to push the gun control agenda. For the most part the modern sporting rifle is not used in most self defense situation it's more like a hand gun like a Glock or Sig or S&W m&p shield or an m1911 and the list goes on.

As for that being bullshit there are thousands upon thousands of cases every year in which an individual uses a firearm to defend their life and property. One case that sticks out in my mind was that of a 13 year old boy who got into a shoot out with 2 armed individuals one of which later died when he showed up at a local hospital after fleeing the seen. (See the wed site thetruthaboutgns.com or just google self defense stories and concealed carry or I can tell you my personal story or my friends' stories) these stories are rarely ever seen on the news because it doesn't fit into the gun control agenda. And not every situation is a situation where pulling the trigger is the only solution and it can be resolved "peacefully" without shot(s) being fired. Anyone who has actually taken self defense weapons training classes will say that the trigger pull only comes when you're in absolute fear for your life and in that moment you shoot responsibly as you should always shoot even at a range.

As for my personal home defense system I'm not going into detail on a public forum about it. My home is defended in many ways and im just going to leave it at that. As for intentions of the individual(s) breaking into my home I don't know what their intentions are so I'd rather be prepared to confront a violent situation with overwhelming force than not be able to confront violence with violence.

Here's my questions to you. Do you even own a firearm (if yes how well trained are you with it?) are you aware that most cases of individuals shooting themselves are actually classified and a negligent discharge? (means someone didn't follow the rules) Are you aware that the 1994 "assault weapons ban" and proposed ones to follow only banned certain features of a firearm that had nothing to do with the actual function of the weapon?

I ran off pictures of bullfrogs, since they're in season and use them for targets around the lake
