I Have a Confession

Honestly thinking about becoming religious. Just so I can fix my life and actually have faith in something.

1. To daily meditate will help your mind thoughts, short out what is value to you. To quite those perpetual thoughts, so that true creative ideas can come through, needs silence, else just the same thinking, over and over.
2. Meditation helps to let go of old childhood hurts, hurts by family dysfunction. On YouTube are many music healing meditations, try Relax River or Numeditation. (Many to choose from)
3. Their is nothing to fix, just allot to forgive. When we forgive, we release us from the situation/person. Most of all, to forgive yourself.
4. Under all the mishaps, under failure, under fears, is love.
5. Your job in life is your own happiness. This happy is not based on, money, fame, people, children, work, body......
6. Each day is new, each day is it's own day. When we let go of life hurts, we tend to be more present to true reality.

I can recommend many books to read, to expand your limited vision for your life. I do find reading autobiographies of people I admire gives valuable insight. (We all have life challenges )

Religion is a very serious, personal thing. I was raised Catholic, drifted for many years, maybe decades before I was saved and became a Christian. It made all the difference in the world in my life.

Life is still hard, brutal sometimes. But I have real joy. It is not easy at all, but if you do have faith and it is something you feel in your heart the reward of walking with God is available to you.

I would suggest that you read the scriptures, or another "holy" book if you are leaning something else. But most important, pray before you do. Ask that the God of Abraham reveal the truth and you feel it in your heart and will have the courage in your actions to follow.

The reason I word it that way is Muslims, Jews & Christians all believe the God of Abraham is the same. It gets trickier after that, but that is another discussion.

Religion is not required for self improvement. Just loyal support from yourself and those around you that you trust the most.

Of course it’s not required. Maybe I just want something to believe in that makes me happy?@SW-User

Don't wait on others for your own happiness.... You can create it right now, if you have the will to do so....
