I've had ADD ever since I was little, and was put on Ritalin..be careful with that pill! My mom took me off it because I said it was giving me chest pains.
I'm a weird kind of ADD, I talk fast, but am slow paced. I can't concentrate and often forget things at times, sometimes I say something without even knowing it, or I think someone said something when they didn't. I didn't have many friends growing up, I screamed in my sleep often so they ended up kicking me out of their house and never let me sleep over again XD
I was surprised when I got my GED, I had a job for a while but I've been without one for quite a while now, no place nearby is hiring, and any place I try applying at never calls me anyways. My dog passed 2 years ago and it still gets to me, I'm still depressed. I started learning to drive at 14 in case mom had a seizure, I can drive pretty good, even on my own, yet I can't seem to pass the license test, no matter how hard I try. Nowadays mom yells at me, or blames stuff on me just because I'm the oldest kid. At least it sounds like you're doing good. I hope things continue to go good for you!

@SpookyHollows:
If I ever have a serious side effect I will definitely consider other options. It can definitely increase pulse rate in some people. Mine doesn't seem to be affected when I am on it so far. The benefits so far are outweighing the risks.

Thank you so much for sharing! This puts it into words very orderly. I'm glad you found a sufficient regemin and plan to stick to it. Not everyone is so lucky as to respond as well as you did. May your life have peace!

Thanks for your kind comment!
I am very blessed to have responded as well to both meds. No major side affects! I had some bursts of agitation the first week of Lexapro and 1 or 2 headaches. ut nothing anymore. I sleep well too. Its not a magic pill. I still feel. But there are more happy and peaceful moments. I don't obsess over certain things as much.
