"BE" what you want to be. ie you want feel confident so talk and act and dress confident. By BEING what you want to be before you are it you will eventually feel it.
It's like a tree. A tree is a tree at it's route but no one sees the routes. The routes are the "being" the trunk is the "doing" the branches and leaved are the results. The results of being and doing confident things are the then feeling confident.
I think that's the opposite of what a psychologist would tell you lol but it works.

hi Robzei
I think you can overcome a stutter with rhythmic verbalisation. Does not have to be too pronounced like rap or anything or need to break into song. Is a mind trick.
Best wishes

Have you given thought to seek a girl who also may be shy? Shy to the point she has ZERO friends? Perhaps you might pass her a note. Explain your embarrassment, that because of your shyness and 'Stutter' could she spend a little of her time with you to talk.
If she turns you down, consider the thought that she might be shy like you. Perhaps somewhere in her mind, she's wishing...you would at least smile and say 'Hello'.... I will bet you that she will accept. Step forward and grant yourself the opportunity to make a new friend.

you just need the right people where you feel comfortable

@Iwillsurvive I know...it just sucks having to be the awkward one in the conversation. I'm fine talking to my friends because we're all nerdy goofballs but when it actually comes to acting normal...I suck 😅
Have you tried a speech therapy?@SW-User

I learned to deal better with those kind of situations by watching masters of debate and discourse deal with various situations, regardless of the fact I agree or disagree with their positions.
It's one way you could learn to cope with your situation.
