I Absolutely Love Bookstores

Yes yes yes!!! No matter where I am, the first thing I look for is a bookstore. I could happily live in the corner of one, curled up with a blanket and shelves full of books. There is nothing more safe and comfortable than a good bookstore, preferably an old one with the old book smell still lingering around!

I love bookstores, too. I've lost count of the hours I've spent in them, exploring, reading, thumbing through books, etc. You'd love Malaprop's bookstore in Asheville NC:

I don't live in Asheville, but Malaprop's is my all-time favorite bookstore of all the ones I've been inside.

On a first-name basis with the bookstore people around home, and always try to visit stores when I travel. My friends kid me about the boxes of books I have shipped to my house make it home before I do. A 500 year tradition that will hopefully never die.

I have a "library"; i get made fun of because i like to hold a book, see it, put it back on my shelf when I'm done with it; i do NOT like to look at a Tablet.....

I love them...you never know what you will find... a book you always wanted a good copy of and now found or a book you never knew existed that becomes one of your favorites.
