I Love My Mother

I'm reminded today that it would have been my bestie's mum's birthday, if she was still alive....

...as such, and seeing just how raw that feeling of loss can be at close range, I am thankful that my own mother is alive and well....

Although we have our differences I will always see her as more than just family, but that of a dear friend....

It takes someone's loss and emotions sometimes to see what we too could lose...
