What is it like?

[c=#004A59]to be once fat then losing all that weight? Was there a void or a new beginning?[/c]

It feels good to have been seriously fat and have lost much needed weight. I've lost 140 lbs in the last 18 months.

No, I was very pleased, especially with the compliments! There are many people who haven't seen me in years who are shocked when they finally recognize me! That pleases me the most. :-D :-D Plus, I knew that I had to lose weight to help stop my osteoarthritis from getting worse faster. And then since many more clothes fit me, I've become quite a clothes horse!! :-D :-D :-D

I've never been fat. The most I lost was 6 kg (about 15 lbs) but I can tell you it's very rewarding to achieve what is close to the body of your dreams

@MissingNotes: I know I was working out before but I fell off the wagon.

Best of luck then

It certainly gives you more confidence as a person but you begin to feel that there was always this void
I had and have a bit of both. Also fear and other things

I am still far from my goal so not sure if I should share but I will. I lost over 50lbs and I need to say beyond just feeling so much healthier being involved in more things that made me happy to see me more as the me I always wanted to be was revolutionary and I can only hope it will just get better as I get closer to the me I want to be.

@BlackTeaBunny: It is okay to be afraid they say that hero and a coward have two things in commmon fear. So be afraid and do it anyway!

@PeanutsauntieP1982: Thank you so much!
