why do my teeth have to hurt when I have a cold?

I don't get it. At some point my teeth hurt (like right now). Why do colds have to make our teeth or jaw hurt so much! Geez! And people say a cold isn't as bad. Well it's bad if your jaw or teeth hurt that's for sure.
Your sinuses swell and put pressure on nerves to your teeth. I have a sort of similar thing. I get spasms in my back sometimes and the first sign one is starting is I get a brief but painful toothache in my right upper molar

I can be from the swelling of the blood vessels and nerves, or the infection from the virus spreading to those parts.
