WARNING: THIS MAY BE TRIGGERING!

How can I manage my anxiety? My way of it currently is through self harm (mainly cutting) and an eating disorder (alternating between not eating for 2-3 days at a time and binging)

Listen, if you are actively self-harming and experiencing an eating disorder, you almost certainly need therapy. Not because there's anything wrong with you but because your anxiety has risen to a level that's hard for you to maintain healthfully anymore and the possibility of future damage is great.

There are truly effective treatments for anxiety now. There's medication, but there's also all kinds of therapeutic exercises and skills you can use. Do yourself a favor; tell someone you'd like to talk to someone about this issue and get the assistance you deserve. Also, you might want to check out therapistaid.com for exercises and information. Good luck.

@repeters1027: And there's always online. Find someone you can confide in and check in with once in a while. Just like our bodies, we can make our spirits stronger.

Practice meditation instead.

I honestly don't know how to, which probably makes me really stupid.

@repeters1027: Naw you just haven't had it explained. Lots of ways to meditate the point is to focus on one thing. This book explains a way to meditate and also tips on how to stay focused (you will have to cut and paste as links don't seem to work)
