Society's obsession with Covid 'changing the way we will live' is becoming ridiculous.

There have so far been 4.4 million confirmed cases, approximately 0.05% of the global population.

To date Covid has killed 302,000 people, only 0.004% of the world's population, of that number around 271,800 people have had a prior condition that would weaken them to ANY respiratory infection.

So that means that WORLDWIDE 30,200 'perfectly healthy' people have died.... Which is 0.0004% of the population.

This virus is neither world ending nor world changing. For individuals, yes, it can be devastating to lose loved ones, but to humanity as a whole, it really is bugger all and it escapes me why such a huge fuss is being made about it... It strikes me that it's more of a political issue than a medical one.

@Lostpoet Thanks for BA 😁

HannahSky · F
I don't mind the privacy but are they really going to keep it sanitized?
Lostpoet · M
@HannahSky what's wrong with the gym?
HannahSky · F

When you work out you need even more distancing than passive distancing. This will not work.

@waleskinder that’s why I don’t support lock down. Corona or some other viruses with inevitably take a certain percentage of the population. We cannot stop. The world must continue.

I'm fine with going back to the gym without them changing a damn thing. In a years time this virus will join the ranks of the other plethora of viruses in our "sick banks" and people will wonder why it was taken to the extreme level it has been.
SW-User
People are just going to be sweating and breathing heavy all over the place. Not sure it will work tbh.
Lostpoet · M
@SW-User Do you think it'll just cause more heat because it's enclosed area?
SW-User
@Lostpoet I didn’t think about that. But now that you mention it I will.

Alot of people who have subscribed to gym this year are at loss.

I suppose to join a gym in February. But I didn't. I doing it at home. 🤓

Better than our gym lol wants everyone in masks which is gross
Lostpoet · M
@Soramarie Yeah, that's not going to work you can barely breathe in those things and they don't even think the virus is airborne it's more likely to spread in sweat.
Soramarie · 26-30, F
[@Not to mention you’re literally going to be eating your sweat. And breathing in all that hot air which is just nasty
I dont really go to gyms but id want a tad bit more space.. i don't like feeling closed in
calicuz · 51-55, M
