What's a good way to combat a anxiety building situation?

I have to organise stuff for moving, I can feel anxiety in the distance already, so it's less about stopping the thing that's stressing me, and more about having methods of relaxing myself if it gets too much. If I sound "fragile" unfortunately I kinda atm, mentally a bit of a mess, so I'm moving back with my parents so I can focus on getting better mentally and finding work.

(I have autism and anxiety, but had to accept I'm a bit unstable right now,)

It's 100% understandable. Anxiety can be crippling and I know how you feel here. What works best for me is taking headphones and playing some instrumental music (pick your favorite). This way I can block out some of the external stressors. It may not work for everyone but I find it relaxing.

@Wendy33 i do block out the world with my headphones and a video or music, the only thing that can ruin it is that i often end up worrying (especially during the day) that im not hearing something i should be hearing, or that someone is trying to talk to me
