My left eyelid is red and swollen. Know any home remedies I can try?

Placing a warm cloth over the sore eye for 10-15 minutes, making sure to keep it as warm as possible, my bring some comfort.

A cold teabag. Apparently the theobromine can be used to dilate blood vessels. Whether or not it works I know from experience it's very soothing.

If there was no injury to the eye, see a doctor. Could be conjunctivitis, a sting or bite, shingles...nothing involving the eye is something you want to ignore.

Sounds like it may be pink eye, an old wife tale suggests rubbing wedding ring on it. My mum did this and it seemingly worked

If its a stye try a warm compress for 10 to 15min 4 times a day
