I have to go tomorrow for a biopsy...someone here MUST have experienced one

I had a few biopsies tthis past fall, it was uncomfortable but not painful. I agree with the others...waiting is truly the hardest part. Thinking positive thoughts for you.

I have had one taken from my the neck of my womb and it didn’t hurt at all.. they should numb you! Good luck not that you need it because you will be fine!

I have to agree with the person that said waiting for the results is the worst part. The biopsy itself wasn't horrible, but the waiting is hard. I hope it goes well and you get the most positive outcome you could have.

I have, but honestly it depends on where you need one, as to how painful it will be. Hopefully yours won’t be bad and the results will be favorable

dermatologist did a biopsy on me and it was painless. guess it depends on how invasive it is.

It was not painful, a bit uncomfortable but you will be fine it's over in no time....

@Fernie Sorry, had to ask. I had a non-boob biopsy. I also held someone's hand, as she went through her double breast biopsy. If you have someone who can go with you, to hold your hand, take advantage of it. It's not about the pain, it's about the comforting.

She said icing up the incision area afterward, vigilantly, really helped. Expect to be "sore" for a few days.

I had an endometrial biopsy a couple of years ago (my second) and it was no picnic. You'll be fine. Take some Motrin or Tylenol about an hour before. Try to focus on your breathing and think happy thoughts during the procedure. Treat yourself to something nice afterwards. I wish you well.
