@SW-User many of my cousins have had things going on with other cousins. I had a very sweet close friendship with a cousin myself as a teen...it felt safe....and we have very fond memories of each other.
But we were kids. Id never have considered him being my bf!

I try not to be judgmental as I’m messed up myself but I grew up not knowing that people dated their cousins as it was never spoken about much so now I find it strange but I hope to get a better understanding of it even if I don’t agree with it. I was freindly with only one of my cousins when I was very little say about 7 but we only got along really well and as I got older I never seen her again as she had issues with her mum.

@Soossie i had a sweet 'holiday romance' with a cousin id never met before when i was 13. We spent the whole summer together. It was very innocent....but lovely and i never forgot him despite never seeing him again.....until we met again at another cousins funeral 4 years ago....we were so pleased to see each other....and hed remembered me as fondly as i had him. Weve stayed in touch since and me and hubs have met up with him and his wife 🙂

@RubySoo @YMITheWayIM It's the kids part yes. My grand parents from dad's side were cousins, I never seen them though. What's ironic is that I have a genetic disorder and my parents are not related at all. So yea I just meant that part.
