Do you hate going to the doctor's?

I'm actually glad when I can get a Dr appt as I have a long term condition and they usually can't come out to see me (I can't get to them) more than once a year. And they have no idea what my symptoms and days are like!!

When I used to have blood tests I would try and visualise I nice beach and ocean, to try and stay calm and take my mind off it all. Or you could try visualising something else you like or a nice scene like a night sky. (I don't bother now cos it usually takes several pricks lol and several visits before they can get any blood and I don't really care how many goes it takes as long as they can get some blood!)

Glad they take ur BP twice - stress can really affect it.

I avoid them at all costs if I can.

White coat syndrome is a real thing. You may know about it. When your BP climbs higher because you are there.

Not really, actually when I get there I like admiring their books, one time I even asked to take one to the waiting room. At the hospital I'm afraid of catching something, but not of getting examined; and I'm one of those people who like seeing their blood being drawn. The only doctor I was ever afraid of going was the orthodontist, that would really hurt! But overall, since I'm interested in the medical field, I couldn't really hate appointments and examinations.

ive been going to see a doctor every 4 weeks for like the past 3 years, worst part is getting blood taken, i also nearly faint when it happens

I hate the doctor, but I've had to go WAYYYY too much since 2010, so I don't think I can be blamed too hard haha.
