Not sure about what you call biscuits, but sure anything that is dry, without icing or cream or cheese. Just dry. It's the dryness that creates the need for copious amounts of saliva. And that's what soothes the itch. I keep a bowl of them beside my chair and when my throat gets dry and itchy I eat one and I'm fine.
