If you've had your gall bladder removed, what was the recovery like?

The Dr seems to think (as do I) that I have gall stones. I'm curious as to how to maximize my recovery.

When getting out of surgery and they ask you to walk around, take your sweet time, no sudden movements at all if it takes you five minutes to get out of bed so be it its not a compitition with the nurse who wants you to get out of bed.

I dissolved my gall stones with fresh beet, apple, carrot and ginger juice. I had tried two other things that didn't work but this sure did, started getting relief the first couple of days and continued on for 3 weeks even though the website said to do it for 10 days, I wanted to make sure they were every bit gone.
