I have to agree with WebMD on this one. Anytime you cough up blood its serious. Call a doctor and tell them that you have that symptom. They should see you immediately.

you've got problem in your ear and and it became stronger and start attacking when your defense is down now, so all those come all together actually. rest, take your medicines, esp the ear stuff, and don't come out of bed at least a week.. lots of vitamins and chicken soup..

Yes. Any infection can cause flu like symptoms because it raises your temperature . If you have an ear infection it could have spread to your throat as well which could be why you have speckles of blood when you cough ?

I went back to the dr yesterday cause I was having trouble catching my breath after coughing and my breathing got real fast ! Part of the fast breathing was me panicking about it cause that had never happened to me before and it scared me like crazy!

Ear infections are worse than toothache !.
They can affect everything from your balance to severe headaches.
Not surprising you feel bad.

Did they give you some antibiotics ?

if you have the flu and and ear infection.. dont know where the blood is coming from. youll have headaches and stuff from an ear infection
