@Skunked: The biggest hurdle you likely have is just finding where skunks live. I generally tell people to follow their nose. Their usual habitats are grasslands, wooded areas, and occasionally cities as long as they have somewhere to get food and water, typically creeks and ponds attract them for that reason. Once you know where to look, you'll need a set of old clothing you don't mind never wearing again, with leather gloves if you expect to grab their tails and certainly some safety goggles to prevent being blinded by a face shot.
