Though I Am Not Perfect (Poem) [I Believe That the True Religion Is Iglesia Ni Cristo]

How can an imperfect soul like me
Be worthy before the Lord Almighty?
He never fails to provide my daily needs
In spite of my numerous misdeeds.

I was called into the true Church
When I received His righteous words
My life has changed since then
I am no longer a slave to sin.

And yet I still do things that are bad
Even when I know it makes Him sad
Still, He forgives me for my wrongdoings
Truly, He is gracious and forgiving.

In truth, I do not deserve to be alive
When I have committed sin before His sight
Though I am not perfect, He is merciful
Peace with God; there is nothing more beautiful.
