I can think of some tragedies where the timing was hardly optimal.

@BiasForAction Sometimes things that we don't like happen to us, and we don't understand why it happened. We just have to place our trust in God. He knows better than we do.

@SharingIsCaringSB not much consolation to those who lose their lives due to a tragedy -- are they guaranteed a spot in heaven because of circumstances beyond their control?

@BiasForAction It's not for me to say whether they are going to heaven or not. Only God can judge them. Just because we undergo trials, it doesn't mean that God does not love us. He wants us to trust in Him. He allows us to face problems for our faith to be tested, to see if we will turn to Him or turn against Him.
