Who is the smartest person that you personally know? And who is the smartest person historically in your opinion? [I Am Curious]

Nomad7 · 22-25, M
I'm not sure if I know anyone who is a lot smarter than me. My dad, my grand-uncle, a couple of people in my class at uni and my relationship manager at the company I was working for are sone people I have met personally who are similar to me in terms of intelligence.
I've also read a few answers by @BlueVeins on here and he seems to be one of the smartest people around here..
As for the smartest people in history, studies say the German writer and philosopher Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe is the smartest man in modern history, although there are probably a few Chinese guys and Indians who are smarter than him, with IQs of 200+

A very close friend.

William James Sidis is supposedly the smartest man to have existed. To be fair, I really don't know if it's true. My guess would be Tesla.

I'm not sure. My idea of smart has changed over the years.
@KuroNeko How did it use to be compared to how it is now?

@Seventeen I used to think it was all IQ until I did my psychology degree and learned about how that's a poor measure of intelligence. Nowadays I think its about adaptability and emotional intelligence. People who disregard emotions are discounting a very important navigation system. Intuition is important in life. Open mindedness is also important for Learning anything. Nobody can learn if they already think they know it all.

@acpguy I did nothing that would refer to the use of the slang definition of snowflake. I also gave you a chance to reflect on what the question asked, and you were simply vague in your first statement, and hostile towards a politician that regarded absolutely zero relevancy to the question asked. Then when given an opportunity to restate something other than a negative you squander it to be simply hostile towards me, feigning that you know more, under no grounds or facts that you could pull save for you believe yourself to be so self entitled to your own opinions truths. When you simply could have answered the question. Nor did I imply anything about a singular smart person, but rather implied someone’s intelligence that the individual who answers, can list for themselves as reference.

Your own tangent so far is very fallible. I don’t know how you expect anyone to take you seriously if you continue to convolute the simple or attempt to change the theme of the questions to your own making rather than your original design. You’ve so far continued on a negative path when my questions had nothing to do with negativity at all. You yourself seem to be so bottled with bitterness that it’s like a milk turned sour. I’d suggest you not be so easily triggered that your reflex is to call others snowflakes when there’s no discourse present for such a claim.

Asking you to take my question more seriously and to stay within the lines of the context it asks is not being a snowflake, it’s asking if you’re aware of how far off course from the question you are and if you’d give me a real answer instead of the merry run around you seem to enjoy performing.
