When you meet someone after a year or two and the first thing they say to you is,

"I must say your are looking good these days, I can hardly make you out. " 🤔

People are funny (not ha ha funny), that compliment can go either way. You'd have to consider the source.

Chances are they [i]meant[/i] it as a compliment; I'd probably just assume so and say "thank you". 🙂
