The school slipper!

I remember vividly tearfully coming out of the office with a burning bottom having received the due penalty for my crimes from a heartless mistress whose one objective appeared to be to make my bum the temperature of a volcano! Ow!
Did I deserve it? Not at the time, I thought! But looking back and assessing the nuisance I was - yes! Every time!

@lisawife Did that cause additional discomfort? Some girls would leave home with a conforming skirt and roll up the waistband after they got to school to make it shorter.

My friends and I all did that. Another trick was to keep a very short skirt at a friend's place, whose parents left for work before she had to leave, and change into it before going on to school.
