F.Y.I. Join a group called Freecycle.ORG. It is a place that has offers and requests free items. If you have items you no longer use, do not throw them away. *the program began with the thought to save the land fills.
This helps me because I am a secret hoarder.
Arrangement are made to go to the one that offered with pre arranged coordinates to collect. I communicate via email. I don't want my phone number taken and sold.
You can also ask for an item. Give away used clothes and shoes. Everything must be free!
I even asked for adult diapers for my husbands day care facility. I received a full CASE.

I first began with a request for a lid to my slow cooker that I accidently dropped.
If after you decide you don't need or want the item you picked up, you can repost it back into the forum or give to your Church Charity.

You cannot post animals or pets. However I did ask if anyone had a small dog that needed a home or rescue. This was how I received my Pug.
