I should make it a week long visit then. Thank you for your insight. It sounds like it would be worth it. Richmond sounds fabulous.

Sounds like you have a wide variety of tastes.

That is what I was going to say.

I ate there the other day. I love their steaks but their salmon is very good as well,

My favourite restaurants seem to be random ones which I stumble upon...no tourists, no English speakers (if I'm travelling). A few days ago I was at a local market in Budapest and had the best Lángos of my life. No tourists, no TripAdvisor lol.

I should follow you then. LOL Thanks for the tips.
Sambo's. Great family food. And you can buy a stuffed tiger to take home. And good coffee!

Now that you mention it, I do. I miss those places. A vacation isn't the same with them. Deny's is where we usually stop now. That or Cracker Barrel.
@spandexblue: I grew up in my Grandmother's house and she wws born in 1898, So I have had 20 year of "home style meals" --every meal- for 20 years until I moved out. So Cracker Barrel holds little appeal to me. But I get the charm of it and they do serve a nice meal. (But Denny's coffee is better)

Cracker Barrel is great if you have never had real good home cooked meals. I like you grew up on my grand mothers cooking. You make a very good point there. I don't drink coffee that often but I love the way Deny's smells when you walk in.

I know of this wonderful French restaurant called Jacque In The Box.
