Why do people like the overpriced Starbuck coffee so much

Here, in my place.
I could get one cup of a high quality coffee for only 50 cents.

I would rather go where the coffee is 100% free trade and served this stuff.

Depends who you ask abt STarBubkus. Snobs wanting to show off they're wealthy. People who know each other meet up point. Best tasting coffee. I don't. Too pricey for me. And besides. I prefer to go to a smaller shop where it's 100% free trade coffee if I'm going to pay dollars per cup.

Yeah, that one kinda baffle me. Many people on here in my place like it because they want to show off, even if they can find a better one with a cheaper price on the smaller coffeeshop nearby.

The Starbucks brand is a marketing strategy. It begins with the foo foo trademark roundy-ness ambiance, elitist lingo coffee speak, tiny self importancy tables, and flavory foamy color fads. At a price you can be part of a daily experience only the well paid can afford to take part in.

The began with 100 coffee houses and open up about 2000 more every year and have about 13,000 of them open already. A anti starbucks campaign some years ago did more to increase brand awareness that slow down their growth.

But it's not 100% FREE TRADE COFFEE.

I don't know...I've only had Starbuck's coffee at airports when I needed a cup of coffee, it's all right but way overpriced...
