@SatanBurger is it more the killing animals or health for you?
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Whyme A little bit of both I feel, it's more about killing animals than health but I know that health comes from eating lots of veggies and fruit too. So that's just a bonus.

@SatanBurger well congratulations on the determination to stick to your principles i dont share them but can appreciate your view

Vegan options such as fake chicken or bacon are really out there
If someone doesn't eat meat but still be eating food with preservatives sweeteners etc then its not the best food choice either
Health wise

Yeah, its everyone's choice to eat unhealthy if they want to
And you're right at least they're not causing harm to animals in the process
Just themselves
Makes perfect sense 🤭

I'm a vegan, and my original comment was merely pointing out, that people be eating vegan friendly food that's not so much health friendly
Obv everyone has different reasons for eating vegan
Mine was that 1) I love the animals, and didn't wanna take any more part in the food industry that over breeds and mistreats them, to provide shit quality nutrient deficient flesh
The other was that I wanted to eat more consciously, and know exactly what I'm putting into my body
So if I feel a little sarcastic about people having a right to eat unhealthily if they choose, excuse me
Its just that the food industry has had to become more transparent, and its so easy to find out the processes that went into the food on your plate
So people choosing to eat unhealthily ain't really a thing, its just laziness and convenience on their part not to make an Informed decision

Yeah it's growing and I love it. However people still need to eat right so that is concerning. I love the mock meats as an emergency but I'd love to see more whole food options. More variety in the freezer aisle.
