Do you have baking soda and cream of tartar? If not cream of tartar, what about lemon juice?
iamnikki · 31-35, F
@UndeadPrivateer lemon juice yes
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@iamnikki You can use 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda for every teaspoon of baking powder the recipe calls for. Substitute 1 teaspoon of liquid in the recipe for lemon juice for every 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda used, it will activate the baking soda in a similar fashion to how baking powder works. If there is no liquid to substitute, you can try just adding it as necessary and adding flour to get the right consistency. Should work.
