I Love Books

Yes I do love books. But I don't love reading. I only like reading. And it's a shite state of affairs cos I love the idea of reading because I love books. So I just have an ever-growing pile of books I haven't read. Useless I am. Absolutely useless. They're crying out to be read like a constant tinnitus in my ears but I don't listen.

I love books and have read for many years, especially in the summer time. Most of my reading has been of books I checked out from the library. Am in a bit of a bind right now with the Covid 19 pandemic and the fact that the libraries, at least where I live, are not open. It would be pretty expensive to buy books, for as much as I read, not to say I don't buy some on occasion. I bought 4 a few weeks ago but am on the 4th book now. Interesting to see what will take place eventually--will the libraries re-open? Don't know.
