because people out there are predators who will use your image to find information about you in google, use the image and impersonate you, trap friends and loved ones online... use the image to create accounts, slander, stalk and blackmail.

those who go on about fakes too often are the first i suspect.

@NewKidInTown: They used my pic to create fake accounts. I'm still not sure what info they have or don't...but it has been a very disconcerting experience.
