I Hate Fake People

I don't understand fake people, both in the outside world and online. If you think about it, it's almost sad that some people just can't be honest with others. Maybe they haven't had an eventful life and instead of doing something about it, decide to live a lie. But the real problem with that is that by not being honest, your not opening yourself up to others. You're denying people a chance to get to know the real you and in a way also denying the chance to get to know yourself. I mean how can you work on being a better person if you're not even who you say you are in the first place? I don't understand how you could allow yourself to live like that and think its okay.
