I Hate Cheaters

I shouldn’t have trusted him.
My mum once told me that going back to an old relationship is like reading your favourite book and expecting a different ending.

Cheaters, cheat, it's what they do. Sort of like liars, they lie, it's what they do. Old relationship, current relationship, or prospective relationship, if it's with a cheater, then chances are, the cheater will cheat... again, and again. Sometimes they stop, but that's only when they stop on their own, and only after a major and dramatic period of self-realization, and a period of intense change that typically changes many facets of the person. So, if a cheater says I won't cheat, and hasn't shown changes, can't talk to you openly about why they cheated, and hasn't faced the fact that it is totally their problem, then cheaters cheat.

Hate you had to learn that, hate that your mother was right; but she was.

@niamh I know it was tough, and I'm glad you are on this side of it. Remember, it had nothing to do with you. It could have, and would have been the same with whomever he was with. It wasn't that you weren't cute enough, pretty enough, smart enough, sexy enough, or enough of anything. It was all him.
