I Remember Life Before the Internet

I can remember it. It's difficult to believe I had 2 PCs that were never connected to any form of network. And then the sound of the dial-up modem arrived. But my first experience of the internet was at varsity. That means I didn't have internet for about half of my life.

I grew up without TV and still don't watch it much. No one had television until I was about 10 years old. We got it a few years later.

The tech revolution has been tough on us old folks. I was in my 50s when the Internet happened.

@greenmountaingal: Seems like you're not doing too bad with the whole internet thing. I'm struggling with my mom and the internet. But she's addicted to Facebook and Youtube now.

@sparkie77: Some of my peer age friends do not use the Internet or cell phones. They think I'm a real techie!😂

Does that mean you're their tech support?
