Wow, you really are a lost Canadian. At least you have only a cartoon network view of theism. You said: "Theists seem to believe their god is an elderly white haired man with a beard sitting on a cloud and I believe that is completely ludicrous."
I am a non-theistic humanist also. I grew up as a fundamentalist Christian in a Southern Baptist Church and have several theological degrees including a doctorate. I can tell you that anyone that I knew even in my childhood who would have heard you say that as representative of theism would have laughed you out of their socks. If you are going to try to characterize the views of others, don't misrepresent or mischaracterize them.

I know, I agree completely with you, it is totally ridiculous but that is what has been portrayed in religious artwork for hundreds of years.
