I Believe In God

The Battle Is The Lord's

As the world still spins

Time keeps ticking

My heart still beats

But my spirit is wailing...



In this damned society

I'm left to ask why

Am I only a human

Susceptible to cry?



People claim they know me

But external is all they see

They don't know my heart

Nor see my inner battle...



As I tread down this path

Of destruction and terror

I'm deaf by the sight of wrath

Oh, the horror!



I thought this place was

So broad, so rich

But as reality has it

An easy road left me in a ditch...



There's gotta be a way out

Someone, please help me!

I need some guidance now

Hold my hand... Please hurry!



Before I realized it

Heavy burdens were lifted

I see footprints on the sand

Was I acquitted?



He promised He'd carry me

The very minute I fall

He's the Master on the Battlefield

After all!
