@Pashcar. I did learn that song in Japanese. I'm so happy my iPod has the ability to play the same song over and over again, cause that's how I did it.? :-D

@ CherokeePatti-I like a challenge. :-D So what I'm gonna do is listen to the song until I can sing along. I once learned a song in Japanese that way.

@CherokeePatti-Thank you so very much for that recommend. It was BEAUTIFUL! I'm going to learn it too, lol. :-)

Btw, I've never heard Cherokee before, and I like how it sounds. It agrees well with my ears, lol. :-)

Cherokee is said to be one of the hardest languages there is to learn. Watched a show on TV about how they are bringing it back to the younger generations...it was in the eastern part of the US but they are also bringing it back in Oklahoma too....not easy to learn though, they are using total immersion for the children in a special language school.

Amazing Grace in Cherokee is beautiful, there's a video on You Tube.

I'm gonna look that up. I recently discovered that I LOVE hearing familiar songs in unfamiliar languages. There's this one video on YouTube of these teens singing the song "Cups"(When I'm gone) in Gaelic. I've picked up a few words.
