I Want to See People Stop Bashing This Generation
We might be young but give us our due we are listening, trying to learn enough to be able to get on with life! We might not be interested in the same things as you or actually deliver them in the same way, but if you let us try to enhance your efforts we will surprise you!
We are not here to replace you in any way different than you replaced the generation before you! We will do our best to keep the human race alive. We might adapt a little more than you anticipate to what we find we have but we will try better to keep the planet safe for our children!
We will take up the gauntlet to trying to get to grips with pollution. We might try to better develop alternatives to landfill and exporting our refuse to the Third World 🌎. We might even surprise you in making sure every child on the Earth has a meal and clean water to drink every day.
We might not cure all humankind 's ills but we are determined, just as you were, to be able to talk with each other across the borders we inherit. We will treat each person as a human being first and foremost and not, because of the complexities of where they are born and what the local traditions are, seek to undermine them for not being like us.
We will walk forward as people of Earth, Terrans, rather than anything else, and we will work hard within the capabilities of the diversity, to teach the lingua franca to all peoples so we can converse freely with no human barriers of power broking to limit a single individual. We will even seek to understand where we have come from so we can better see where we are going! This might involve making those difficult steps to making education to the degree level free for all humanity!
We will make the health of our race, the human race, our global priority so we can move forward complete to explore better what it is to be human and just why we have been for so long separated from what we call the divine!
