Anyone else have bad luck with h&m?

They had a big summer sake a few weeks back and I tried them for the first time because I’m trying to get some cheap professional wear (dresses, slacks ). The dresses fit ok . But the two pairs of pants I bought (in a 12 which is what I normally wear) would not go past my thighs . And with corona virus stores aren’t accepting returns and now I’m really depressed that I’m just so damn fat.
