I Am On My Own Spiritual Path

So I guess I have what you would call an extremely pure spirit - and as far as I'm concerned, and from where I'm sitting - I seem to carry a form of benevolence which you rarely ever see or come across in this world. I've always known there was something quite different, and dare I say "special" about me, and it's no wonder, I guess, that kids and babies pick this up from me, much to my own awkwardness. The amount of times I see children and babies starring at me, out the corner of my eye - they're completely mystified. Almost hypnotically perplexed by me in some way. I really don't get it. I'm curious what they're seeing, whatever it is. Like I remember being at a self-service checkout once and having this little girl stood right next to me who literally couldn't take her eyes off me. I knew she was there, I just didn't want to make it, like, you know, embarrassing or awkward for anyone so I just carried on. She was in a world of her own. Absolutely entranced. Awkward for me I guess. I still don't understand why this only ever seems to happen to me. I never see it with anyone else. Hmm.

Animals seem to react differently around me as well, I've sometimes noticed. Dogs give me the most bizarre, human-like glares I've ever seen. It's weird. There was one time in particular where it literally felt as if this dog was kind of looking at me in a "different" sort of way than what you would typically expect. I don't know. Probably impossible to explain.
