I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim
I learned to do not detest the misfortunes that befall me, for what I detest maybe the cause of my salvation and what I like maybe the cause of my ruin.
To [u]completely[/u] trust in God is to be like a child who knows [u]deeply[/u] that even if he does not call for the mother, the mother is [u]totally[/u] aware of his condition and is looking after him. What is destined will reach us, even if it be beneath two mountains. What is not destined will not reach us, even if it be between our two lips. One departs from the station of patience through anxiety, exaggeration of complaint, making an exhibition of sorrow, possessions and food. If I had perfect power to determine my destiny, and perfect vision to see the future and know what is best for me, I would choose exactly the fate that God has chosen for me.
As we look back on our life, we realize that every time we thought we were being rejected from something good; we were actually being re-directed to something better. We must convince our heart that whatever God has decreed is most appropriate and most beneficial for us.
