I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

Allah the Exalted loves them who forgo worldly life, the Angels love them who reject the vices, and the people love them who give up greediness in respect of others.

Greed pushes people to an extent where they become inhuman. It makes them forget about others and they start collecting as much as possible for themselves. I learned that miserliness, cowardice, and greed appear to be different wicked qualities but they all arise from the same evil mentality of having no faith and no trust in Allah. Greed and faith never co-exist in the human heart.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“Your rivalry in the accumulation of wealth diverts your minds.”
[Quran 4:128]
"Souls are prone to avarice; yet if you do what is good, and practice piety—Allah is Cognizant of what you do."
I enjoy bacon!!!
@AlphaCuckTX I'm curious why you would say such a thing to someone who clearly intends you only peace and love in your life? What was your motivation?

I've read the Bible, Took religion classes in College, Read numerous books on Judaism,Paganism, Christianity, and even a couple on Satanism. I've read the teachings of Buddah, and I have read the Quran, (English translation).
While different religions, for the most part all have their own agenda it is frequently the same message.
The Quran has a similar message but that message is only for the followers of Mohammad, everyone else is an outsider, an infidel, and a lesser person according to the teachings of Mohammad.
Other religions that teach peace and love encourage joining in their belief. Muslims seem to want to stand apart from all other religions.
They frequently say their religion is one of peace and love.
While there are those followers who believe that, and adhere to that part of the teaching, the underlying message is this is only for us.
As for my statement I like Bacon, well I do. Perhaps it is my way of saying I will set my self apart from you!
@AlphaCuckTX Thanks for the summary of your religious studies, but that was not really my question. However, since you are so well read on various faiths and philosophies, do any of them speak of being kind to one another? Do any of them speak of holding love in your heart?

I only came across Madeleine's profile today because she is having a really interesting chat with another of my friends, but she seems like a genuinely kind and loving soul. Why you would randomly slap her in the face like this is beyond me. And it is certainly not in keeping with Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, or Islam (I don't know about the others you mentioned).

Most religions talk of kindness, few actually practice it in reality.
The higher one goes in religions hierarchy the more petty and one-sided the leaders seem to be.
The major religious groups that you mentioned are all more concerned with greed & oppression than their followers.
If I were to pick the ones that do talk of kindness towards others and practice it on a daily basis. I would have to go with Buddism and paganism.
Personally I am Catholic, but I rarely practice it, and if I do feel burdened by anything, I can take advantage of confession. I am rarely burdened by anything.
Madeline is one follower of Islam out of millions, just as i am one follower of Catholicism out of millions. Neither of us is a demographic. As for my statement, it is one of fact, to be interpreted individually.

@AlphaCuckTX The message of the Quran is not exclusively for Muslims. It's for humanity at large.
