I Hate My Period

I rarely eat dairy products. They're just something that wasn't eaten or drank often in my family and I still don't eat or drink them as an adult. Well I forgot that dairy can increase period pain and had been adding yoghurt to my breakfast last month. No wonder my last cycle was so painful. It was the worst I had since high school! I took dairy back out of my diet and I feel wonderful this time! I still get pain but it's manageable. Last time, it wasn't. No matter what I did I was stuck with cramps and nausea. Now all I need is some Midol and a heating pad and I am A-Okay. I feel so much better!

My period used 2 be hell b4 i joined rugby. My cramps were so bad that i couldnt get out of bed and i always had a heavy flow so that was just yuck. And its so true. Milk and period are just NO.

Same here about staying active. My periods were hell until I started working out a few years ago. My flow is still a little heavy but nowhere near as heavy before. I don't why I decided to exercise so late. I should have been doing that the whole time!

@goagainsttheflow: Thats what I thought a few weeks into rugby practice. My cramps were so light I didnt even realize I was on my period until...lol😂
