[big]And He Knows It![/big]A few of you have asked if I had plans for New Year's Eve and until this morning I didn't. I'm home at my parent's house on leave for a couple weeks and they will be out at a party up in Boston so I had planned on putting a fire in the fireplace and enjoying a quiet evening at home myself.
But then he texted me first thing this morning. He knows I wake up at 0530 pretty much every day and his text came in at 0529; zero chance that was a coincidence.
Anyway, he had the opportunity late yesterday to score two tickets to a "Black 'n White Masquerade Ball" at a local upscale bar. He also said he wanted to make things up to me after Saturday (https://similarworlds.com/9721571-I-Love-Men-In-Uniform/2406471-What-About-Women-in-Uniform-Okay-ladies-let-me). So I said sure. Now it's time to plan...
I do have a nice black dress here at home that I like. It has a mid-thigh length pleated skirt that's fun when dancing. The bodice is snuggly fitted with a low waist line and a high neckline. It's sleeveless with almost a racer-back tanktop cut to the shoulders and back with larger-than-normal arm opening. I like it; very much my style for the few times I actually wear a dress.
On my feet I'll be wearing a nice pair of black sandals I have that criss-cross up my calves. I know its December, but we'll be inside and I want to be comfortable.
The challenge will be the masquerade part of the evening. I need to go out to the party store and look for a mask. I'm thinking something like this:

So that will all be fun for sure. But he knows me well and knows I can only handle clubs and crowds and loud music so much. So he said for midnight we can get out of there and go watch the fireworks over the harbor! Yup. He knows me well.
