The story of the shamrock is this.When St.Patrick went to Ireland to convert the Irish to Christianity he was trying to explain the Triune God.The Irish already had something in this with the goddess Brigid.He needed to explain the three distinct personalities of God.Well he found the shamrock or trefoil that grew only in Ireland.The shamrock has three leaves one plant.He used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the Irish.The three in one,The Father,the Son and the Holy Spirit in one God.was easily understood by the Irish this way.That's the significance of the humble shamrock in history.

Today, the issue of the Trinity of God, Christians were divided into two camps - those who believe in the Trinity, and those who do not believe in the Triune God.

But does this affect somehow to our salvation? Does the salvation of mine, if I believe in the Triune God, or the One? I think not. My salvation depends on whether I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and follow Him there, taking up your cross, and follow Him, not taking the cross. This is the most important issue that needs our attention

I think we agree more than we realize. We know that God is the Father, and that Jesus Christ is His Son and the Holy Spirit is the divine essessence of both.
