Art is very funny as we all like different. However to me lots of the so called great artists are garbage and I often wonder what others really think.
I love horses for instance but I wouldn’t want a Stubbs picture as all his horses have giraffe necks. So to me it’s valueless and I wouldn’t want it for free.
If often makes me wonder whether people really like most of the famous art works or are just polite about them lol
