I would try my hardest to disconnect from their relationship with your brother. It doesn't have anything to do with you and it would be cruel to base your personal value on that. Try to find a job and start working on getting a car yourself. You may need them to co-sign for a loan, and put you on their insurance, but it will show your ability to be independent from them.

@Hakphin: [c=#4C0073]I just want a new car and had another fight with them about it today in reality I know they will get me a used one when my friends have new ones and yeah I am on my dads insurance cause I got a learners permit.[/c]

I understand completely, and I hope that you can get something that you're happy with. Why does it matter what your friends have, versus you? :)

Life isn't going to be fair. If it was, nobody would be having problems. Perhaps just save up money when you can to buy a cheap car. I'm sure you can find a decent car for around 3000 or even less. Maybe your parents might even put up half, who knows.

@dodgergurl12: [c=#4C0073]Yeah but they are willing to pay 10000 for a used one I don't want a used one. :( [/c]

Why not a used car? I mean it's better than no car and having to depend on other people to give you rides. I've only had used cars and they've never let me down.

You are lucky to be allowed to get a license after behaving like this 🙄
