@Meatboy I was okay with the bugs, as you got a cool one once you got to level 10 (though it would of been nice if they had one more unique move).

Magikarp was more annoying, because that was what, level 20?

But I meant was the game problems like the focus energy actually 😂 made it less effective, instead of the attended more effective.

Critical hits were based on speed, meaning the more powerful but slower one that were supposed to have critical hit rarely worked.

@Viper I mean the bug types in red and blue were actually useless, no bug moves and their stats were trash

@Meatboy Yes they were, but you could fairly easily take them to Butterfly and Bee levels.

@Viper True, couldn't really do anything with them though. The psychic type was way too op, ghosts moves weren't super effective, there were no bug moves and the dark type didn't exist. Huge problem

@Meatboy what is the dark type?

The games strengths vs weakness were not fairly set in Gen 1, so to go to the ending, it was better to have certain ones.

Which made it less fun if you had specific favorite ones.

@Viper Dark type was made in gen 2, it's super effective against psychic and psychic moves have no affect on dark type Pokémon. The dark type is very handy
